A hands-on keepsake station

Live Patch Bar

Set up a patch wall, let guests choose their favorites, and watch our crew heat-press embroidered, chenille, and leather patches onto hats, totes, and denim right in front of them. Everyone leaves wearing something they designed.

Why guests love it

It's a keepsake they build, not swag they toss.

A patch bar turns a few minutes of choosing into a memory guests keep. They pick the patch, we press it while they watch, and it's theirs before they walk away — no order forms, no shipping, no leftover boxes.

01

Real choice at the wall

We arrive with a curated patch wall — stock designs plus any custom patches made for your event. Guests browse, mix, and match until they find their combination.

02

Pressed while they watch

Our crew heat-applies each patch on a professional press, dialing time and temperature to the fabric so it bonds clean and holds up to washing.

03

Wearable in minutes

A finished cap or tote takes well under a minute at the press. The line stays moving, and every guest leaves with something on their body, not in a bag.

What guests can patch

Bring your own, or pick from our blanks.

Hats & caps

Richardson 112 trucker caps, structured six-panels, and unstructured dad hats — the most popular canvas for a leather or embroidered patch.

Tote bags

Natural canvas totes take patches beautifully and double as the take-home bag for the rest of the day's favors.

Denim & jackets

Guests love bringing a jacket or vest to build a personal patch layout — or we supply denim-look blanks for the bar.

Apparel & more

Crewnecks, beanies, and even sashes work. Tell us the vibe and we'll stock the blanks and patch styles to match.

How the bar runs

Four steps, one smooth line.

Choose

Guests browse the patch wall and pick their patches for a hat, tote, or jacket.

Place

An attendant helps position the layout so it looks right before anything is pressed.

Press

The patch is heat-applied on our press and set to bond permanently.

Wear

We hand it back finished, cooled, and ready to wear out the door.

Common questions

Patch bar basics.

How much does a live patch bar cost?

Pricing depends on your guest count, hours, how many custom patches you want made, and whether we supply the hats and totes. Local Southern California patch bars generally start around $5,000 for a staffed station; we quote every event to fit its guest list and timeline.

How many guests can one patch bar handle?

A single staffed station comfortably serves roughly 60–100 guests over a two-to-three-hour window. For larger crowds we add presses and attendants so nobody waits long.

Do the patches stay on after washing?

Yes. We heat-press with the right time, temperature, and pressure for each fabric so patches bond permanently and survive normal wear and washing.
